Display Datasheets - Standard Product Families

Use Cases
  • Sourcing comparable parts across PC, PG, PT, and E-Ink families
  • BOM design-in for new programs
  • Drop-in replacement for legacy modules
  • Engineering evaluation of pixel and interface options
  • Distributor and buyer datasheet routing

Request datasheet PDFs by part number across 27 character (PC-series), 20 graphic (PG-series), ~50 TFT (PT-series), and 14 E-Ink size families - we route the relevant family to engineering.

Overview

Polytronix maintains a deep catalog of standard-product display modules across four families: character LCD (PC-series), graphic LCD (PG-series), active-matrix TFT-LCD (PT-series), and E-Ink. Each family contains multiple size, mode, bonding, and interface variants — and each variant has its own configuration-controlled datasheet PDF.

This page indexes the family taxonomy and provides a single point of contact for datasheet requests. For specific part-number PDFs, use the contact form and pre-select the Datasheets inquiry; we will route the relevant family datasheets to your engineering team and to your assigned buyer contact.

When a host program needs a configuration that is not represented in the standard families, the same engineering team supports custom-monochrome glass-thinning, custom-shaped cells, FS-PMVA color-segment displays, and ruggedized cockpit-grade panels. Datasheet inquiries that exceed the standard catalog are routed into custom-engineering for fit confirmation.

By Family

Standard family taxonomy

Character module families (PC-series) span 27 SKUs from 8x1, 8x2, 16x1, 16x2, 16x4, 20x2, 20x4, 24x2, 40x2, and 40x4 column-by-line configurations in COB (Chip-on-Board) and COG (Chip-on-Glass) bonding across STN+, STN-, TN, FSTN+, FSTN-, HTN, and FFSTN- display modes. The standard backlight color matrix covers N (none), Y/G, W, B, R, G, A, O, and RGB. Outlines and viewing areas vary by SKU and are listed on each datasheet.

Graphic module families (PG-series) span 20 SKUs from 122x32, 128x64, 192x48, 192x64, 240x64, 240x128, 240x160, and 240x320 resolutions in COB and COG bonding across STN+, STN-, FSTN+, FSTN-, and FFSTN modes. Options include positive and negative mode, sunlight readability (transflective), extended-temperature builds, UV protection, and TAB/COF/SMT bonding for high-mix volume programs.

Active-matrix TFT-LCD families (PT-series) span approximately 50 SKUs from 0.96 in through 15.6 in diagonal in 4-SPI, SPI, SPI+RGB, MCU, MIPI, RGB, 8080, LVDS, and dual-LVDS host interfaces. Brightness ranges from 200 to 1500 nits across All, 6:00, and 12:00 viewing-direction options. Storage envelopes cover -40 C to +90 C. Capacitive (PCAP) touch, resistive touch, and Optically Bonded Touch Panel (LOCA) are available on selected SKUs.

E-Ink families span 14 size variants: 1.54 in, 1.64 in, 2.13 in, 2.36 in, 2.66 in, 2.7 in, 2.9 in, 3.0 in, 4.2 in, 4.37 in, 7.3 in, 7.5 in, and 8.14 in. Color options include monochrome B/W, B/W/R, B/W/Y, and B/W/R/Y. Front-light availability and touch availability vary by family. Bi-stable operation means the panel holds its content with no power draw between updates.

Detailed datasheet PDFs by part number are distributed on request. Use the contact form and pre-select the Datasheets inquiry; we will route the relevant family datasheets to your engineering team and to your assigned buyer contact. For custom mechanical, optical, or interface requirements outside the standard catalog, datasheet inquiries are routed into custom-engineering for fit confirmation.
